Hi, I’m Kathryn “Kat” Dyer, founder of ManeFocus Hair and a professional hairstylist with more than 15 years of experience in the beauty and hair extensions industry.
I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, by two hardworking Jamaican parents who encouraged me to create a life of my own. From an early age, I knew I had an entrepreneurial spirit and wanted the freedom to build something meaningful.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve served hair clients in New York, Fort Lauderdale, and now Los Angeles. Throughout my career, I have specialized in healthy hair care, protective styling, sew-ins, custom wigs, and natural-looking hair extensions.
If we are using hair extensions to protect or enhance our hair, the quality of the hair is very important. I’ve spent over 8 years sourcing raw hair and wearing the hair to make sure it lives up to my standards.
