Raw hair is 100% human hair that has never been chemically processed, steamed, or coated. It is collected from donors and sewn onto wefts with cuticles intact and aligned, which is why it stays smooth, holds styles, and lasts years instead of months.

Single donor hair means every strand in the bundle came from one person's head. Because the hair shares one texture and cuticle direction, it tangles less and behaves consistently wash after wash. ManeFocus Hair's Luxe Collection is single donor raw Vietnamese hair.

All raw hair is virgin (unprocessed), but not all virgin hair is raw. Virgin means no chemical processing. Raw additionally means the hair came from a single donor with cuticles intact and aligned. Raw is the stricter, longer-lasting category.

ManeFocus bundles are 100g each. Up to 18 inches: 2 bundles (3 for larger heads). Past 18 inches: 3 bundles. 28 inches and longer: 4 or more for fullness. Keep the full count when using a closure; a frontal lets you use one less bundle if desired.

Other factors to consider are your installation method, head size or if you are using a closure. Consult with your hairstylist.

Test it. Burn test: real human hair burns slowly, smells like burning hair, and crumbles to ash; synthetic melts into a hard bead and smells like plastic. Bleach test: raw hair lifts to blonde, processed hair won't. Wash test: use a clarifying shampoo to strip silicone coatings and reveal the true texture. Cuticle check: slide wet fingers up a strand; intact cuticles grip slightly.

To ensure the longevity of your Manefocus Hair extension, we recommend the following care instructions:

• Gently detangle hair before washing.

• Use sulfate-free and moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

• Do not comb with shampoo. If you’re combing through it while wet only do that with conditioner in the hair.

• If you cannot comb through the hair while wet, don’t force it. Allow the hair to dry first and it will be as good as new.

• Wash in a downward motion. DO NOT SCRUNCH OR TANGLE THE HAIR WHILE WASHING.

• Allow your hair to air dry if time permits

• Avoid excessive heat styling.

Raw Vietnamese hair products are designed to be versatile and suitable for various hair types. Your hair may need to be heat styled to blend with straighter textures but manefocus hair has medium shine so it’s not overly shiny. Yes. Because raw hair is unprocessed with intact cuticles, it lifts and colors like natural hair. Always do a strand test first and have color done professionally to protect the hair's lifespan.

Raw Vietnamese hair can last multiple years depending on how well they are maintained. With proper care our Classic collection can last 2+ years and our luxe collection can last 3+ years. You will get the longest lifespan if the bundles are turned into a wig, or if the wefts aren’t cut. If you cut the hair we recommend going to the same hairstylist so they can reinstall it similar to the first installation.

While it is possible to swim with hair extensions or a wig, we recommend minimizing exposure to chlorine and saltwater as they can dry out and damage the hair. Always rinse and condition your hair extensions thoroughly after swimming. If you have to detangle be sure to comb from the ends to the root preferably with conditioner

Depending on the hair texture you have and the hairstyle, you can wrap the hair, use flexirods, pin curl, braid it, or whatever technique your hairstylist recommends. Be sure to use a silk or satin bonnet, head scarf, or pillow case

Manefocus hair allows returns up to 7 days after delivery. The hair must be untouched (not colored, washed, cut, or altered in any way). Hair must be in original packaging. Email contact@manefocushair.com with photos and wait for approval before mailing back the hair

Please allow up to 2 weeks for deliveries from the classic collection and 3-4 weeks for deliveries on the luxe collection. Tracking information is updated when your order ships.
